Stephen is the heart and soul of Sitings with more than 35 years of experience in the real estate industry.
He started out as a broker with a national real estate company and ended up in management Toronto and then started the first tenant representative company in Western Canada.
Stephen started Sitings at his dining room table as he developed the concept for a unique real estate company. Organic growth followed along with hiring more people over the years as the concept resonated with both tenants and landlords.
He adds years of lease negotiation experience, site development expertise, and retail asset marketing knowledge to the Sitings team.
His primary focus is urban retail with a track record of success on the project side working with more than 75 prominent shopping centres in Western Canada. Over his career, he has leased more than three million square feet of retail space and sold and managed the development numerous properties.
Prior to founding Sitings, Stephen headed one of Canada’s largest national commercial brokerage firms with over 300 brokers and was a partner in a major Western Canadian development company.
