Marc D. Renard serves as Executive Vice Chair of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Capital Markets Group in Los Angeles and leads one of the nation’s most successful capital markets teams focused on investment sales throughout Southern California and the broader West Coast. Mr. Renard and his dedicated team have closed over 550 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $40 billion.

Since joining Cushman & Wakefield in 1983, Mr. Renard has completed some of the largest, highest profile, and most complex deals in the Western United States and has consistently ranked as one of the firm’s top producers over the past 20 years. His experience also includes recapitalizations, joint venture structuring, partial interest sales, as well as the placement of preferred equity and ground lease bifurcations.

Mr. Renard’s real estate transaction experience and expertise has been recognized with numerous awards including the Los Angeles Times’ Visionary in Real Estate.

Mr. Renard is a frequent guest speaker at industry events, has appeared as a leading industry expert on Bloomberg and other national news shows, and is widely quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Fortune.

Mr. Renard is a graduate of the University of Southern California and serves on the Executive Committee of USC’s Lusk Center for Real Estate, the Policy Advisory Board of the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics at UC Berkeley, the advisory council of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), and the leadership council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
