Jake Loughridge is a Managing Director at Belay Investment Group where he leads the firm’s acquisition and asset management activities. He is involved in all aspects of Belay Investment Group’s portfolio management of owned assets, as well as sourcing and evaluating new investments, business plan investment execution and the sourcing of potential operating partners. Mr. Loughridge has over 23 years of real estate experience focusing primarily on acquisitions, asset management and development and has been responsible for and managed over $1 billion in acquisitions and redevelopments at such companies as Kearny Real Estate Company, CT Realty, and Mariners Companies. Prior to joining Belay in 2016, Mr. Loughridge was a Vice President at CapRock Partners where he both managed the firm’s acquisition process and executed all asset and project management functions. While at CapRock Partners, Mr. Loughridge was instrumental in doubling the firm’s assets under management and transitioning its investor base from high-net-worth investor to institutional equity.
Mr. Loughridge received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Loughridge is a member of the southern California chapter of NAIOP and is actively involved within its Young Professionals Group. Mr. Loughridge volunteers his time with UCLA, USC and NAIOP in teaching and mentoring students and young professionals.
