Cory is Senior Director, Originations, overseeing Nuveen Green Capital’s West Coast originations efforts in California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Montana.
Prior to joining Nuveen Green Capital, Cory was with Bank OZK (formerly Bank of the Ozarks), where he spent eight years as a team leader on the West Coast, originating over $6B of construction, bridge, and note financing for the commercial real estate market. In addition to being a top originator, Cory was selected to lead the Bank OZK associate training program, where training and mentoring commercial real estate professionals became a passion of his.
Cory also has lending experience from CIT and Arab Jordan Investment Bank, and he has accumulated over $7B in real estate transaction experience over the course of his career.
Cory received his bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of California, San Diego. .
