Barry S. Altshuler, has served as Executive Vice President – Investments of Equity Residential since February 2015. Prior to his current role, Mr. Altshuler served as the Company’s Senior Vice President – Investments from January 2007 to January 2015, as Vice President of Acquisitions from April 2002 to
December 2006 and as Vice President of Asset Management from January 1998 to March 2002.
Mr. Altshuler serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York and the University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board and is a member of NMHC and ULI. Mr. Altshuler served as President of the California Apartment Association from January 2019 to January 2022.
