Damian Smoter

Damian serves as Managing Director and Co-Business Lead of RI Marketplace, overseeing business development, client relationships, and strategy. Since launching in 2017, he has helped scale the platform to serve more than 500+ clients and execute over 3,000+ dispositions while expanding its reach and driving team performance. He has contributed to more than $6 billion in real estate and nonperforming note transactions. Damian began his career at CoStar Group, gaining experience in commercial real estate and market research and earned his master’s in real estate finance from Georgetown University.
