Tom Murphy, Managing Director, Head of Project Services for Hiffman National, is a 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and a 2022 inductee into the commercial real estate hall of fame by RE Journals. Murphy specializes in Project Management through capital improvements and property renovations, maximizing return on investment for his clients.
To date, Tom has completed more than $78 million in capital projects during his tenure at Hiffman through his work with clients ranging from small retail businesses and banks to mid-size financial and insurance clients as well as multiple Fortune 500 companies including General Electric, Blue Cross Blue Sheild, Lenovo and Amazon.
Murphy has completed a multitude of capital improvements involved with repositioning assets in the marketplace such as roof replacements, energy efficiency upgrades and landscaping renovations across multi-building industrial portfolios and suburban office parks throughout the United States.
Tom has been a licensed real estate professional in Illinois since July 2008 and is currently licensed as a Real Estate Managing Broker. Murphy earned his Associates of Science in mechanical design from Michigan Technological University before completing his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois.
