Michael Borron is an Associate Vice President and licensed Broker at Cushman & Wakefield, and a core member of the firm’s Global Data Center Advisory Group. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2016, as a Research Analyst within the Data Center Advisory practice and has since built a successful track record advising occupiers, operators, and institutional capital corporations across the North American digital infrastructure landscape, with a focus on Canada and key U.S. growth markets.
Michael’s experience spans large-scale data-center site selection for enterprise and Fortune 100 requirements; capital markets and advisory assignments involving land and industrial assets; and business-case and market-analytics engagements supporting investment and development decisions. He specializes in power-driven site strategy, utility engagement support, and development feasibility, and is known for translating technical constraints—power, fiber, zoning, and entitlement—into investment-grade underwriting and actionable execution plans. He also supports multi-market disposition and marketing programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to align positioning, underwriting, and go-to-market execution.
Michael holds a degree in Finance and Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. Representative clients include Microsoft, Sun Life Financial, NTT, Nautilus Data Technologies, STACK Infrastructure, IPI Partners, Mapletree Investments, and Yondr Group. Michael regularly supports clients at the intersection of real estate, energy, and digital infrastructure.
