Cory Robertson

Principal
Corwin Partners, Jameson Sotheby’s

Cory Robertson is the Principal at Corwin Partners, where he heads sales, recruiting, and developer relations.

Cory operates at the forefront of new development home sales in Illinois. With over 30 years of experience, he stands as a leading innovator with proven sales success through both the boom and bust cycles of the past three decades. Throughout his career, Cory led successful marketing and sales campaigns for over 100 projects. His experience with gameplanning and deal analysis spanned across more than 16 states. And he proudly managed over 100 sales representatives thus far in his career, supervising and selling over $1 billion in real estate transactions.

After growing up on a construction site and graduating from the University of Michigan, Cory moved to Chicago. He joined to the sales and marketing team for a national homebuilder and hasn’t looked back. Cory’s creative solutions and collaborative attitude led to him and his teams succeeding where others fell short. He oversaw sales and marketing efforts at multiple sites simultaneously, for some of the most prominent developers in the country including Centex Homes, William Ryan Homes, Garrison Partners, Allen Edwin Homes, and Belgravia Group. And now, he has cultivated a reputation for recruiting, training, and leading the most successful new development sales teams in the Chicago market.

In 2015, Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty recruited Cory to create their Developer Services program and start Corwin Partners. Cory initiated the use of on-site sales reps at new developments and, under his direction, the new team proved out locations others didn’t think could succeed and where previous agents had failed. His developed skills in residential product development, pricing strategy, and comprehensive sales and marketing gameplans sets him and his team apart in the market and deliver results.

The Corwin Partners Development Sales and Marketing team excels at selling from floorplans before and during construction evidenced by the successful campaigns at two West Loop developments — Peoria Green and Madison+Carpenter. Each site was sold out prior to the first home being delivered. More recently, the St Boniface adaptive reuse cathedral in Noble Square now boasts 17 of 18 homes sold prior to substantial construction start.

Cory and his two sons enjoy relaxing at their cottage in Grand Haven, Michigan, and hiking National Parks. So far they visited 21 of 62, and counting.
