Joe joined EBI Consulting in 2019 and brings 4 years of experience as an Account Executive, and over 1 year of experience as a Director of Operations, primarily focusing on energy auditing and modeling, commissioning and retro-commissioning, and utility and carbon emissions benchmarking.
As the Associate Director of ESG Client Services, Joe’s responsibilities include working with clients to develop corporate ESG strategies and initiatives to meet ESG goals, developing new technical services and solutions – across all EBI service groups – for all ESG frameworks and guidelines, and to ensure client success with ESG reporting. He is also experienced in project management, utilizing strategies to generate business, and coordinating with clients to deliver quality services. He has worked with various sectors including commercial, life sciences, retail, industrial, restaurants, private and public schools, hospitals, municipality-owned facilities and multi-family housing.
Additionally, Joe has extensive experience with Energy & Sustainability services by helping clients achieve compliance with regulatory ordinances and energy codes nationally, including: L87, LL84/133, the Climate Mobilization Act (LL97, 96, 95, 94/92) and NYC’s Energy Conservation Code (NYCECC 2020). He is an expert on all NYC DOB sustainability initiatives and has been featured on panels with DOB and Mayor’s Office officials discussing Local Law 97 (Carbon Emissions Limits), how to navigate DOB Local Laws, and sustainable NYC infrastructure development.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts in sustainability studies, with a minor in business management, from Stony Brook University.
