Elsa Vincent has worked in environmental design for more than 20 years. As Partner and Design Director at STGM, she leads a multidisciplinary design team and contributes to a practice where design and architecture are approached as an integrated whole.
Her experience and the diversity of the projects she works on have shaped a perspective that extends beyond the design of spaces to consider how they evolve over time. As the ways we work, live and experience the city continue to change, Elsa sees design as a catalyst for creating attractive environments that can accommodate multiple uses and adapt to evolving needs.
This approach leads her to explore the transformation potential of existing buildings, the integration of different uses, and ways to extend the relevance of places rather than designing them for a single purpose. For Elsa, design brings together human experience, identity, adaptability and longevity, helping rethink the value of spaces in a changing city.
