Quincy Allen is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Arc Capital Partners (“Arc”), a Los Angeles-based real estate investment management firm. Since inception, the firm has invested in more than $1.0 billion in value-added commercial real estate, and is currently investing discretionary institutional capital in commingled funds. Arc invests across the capital stack primarily in joint ventures and as preferred equity with local operating partners. Mr. Allen has been responsible for Arc’s platform, and oversees portfolio strategy, operations, and capital formation.


Mr. Allen is a 30-year veteran of finance, real estate development and investing with over $8 billion of transaction experience. Prior to forming Arc, Mr. Allen was a Managing Director and investment committee member of Canyon Partners Real Estate (“Canyon”). At Canyon, Mr. Allen led the acquisitions team for the Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds, a partnership between Canyon and Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and invested in over $3 billion of real estate. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Allen was an executive with Lazard Frères, Archstone Communities, and Security Capital Group.

Mr. Allen is a Director of Apartment Investment and Management Company (NYSE: AIV). Mr. Allen also serves on the board of the Mike Ilitch School of Business (Wayne State University), The Wayne State University Foundation Board, and Think Together (2020 – 2024). Mr. Allen is also an active member of Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, and the National Multi Housing Council.

Mr. Allen graduated from Wayne State University (B.S. Finance Major, Summa Cum Laude) and Harvard Business School (MBA).
