Peter Shea

Peter Shea joined New York Life in 2025 as Head of Mortgage Originations for the Northeast region, where he oversees production of fixed rate, bridge and construction lending. He brings more than 20 years of real estate experience, most recently serving as an Executive Director in the CIB of J.P. Morgan, where he was responsible for originating both balance sheet mortgages and CMBS throughout the US. He previously held roles at Fortress Investment Group and KKR and has a BA in Economics from Cornell University.
