Mike began his career as a multifamily investment sales broker at Marcus & Millichap in Southern California. He then joined Ten-X as a Senior Director, where he specialized in developing programmatic disposition strategies for institutions, REITs, syndicators, private equity funds, family offices, and private capital investors through online live bid auctions.
In 2023, Mike rejoined Marcus & Millichap as Vice President of Investments within the Commercial Property Auction Services division, where he leads auction services for the Western Region with a focus on Receivers, Special Servicers, and Lenders. Throughout his career in commercial real estate, Mike has specialized in acquisition, disposition, and advisory services, establishing himself as an expert in accelerated marketing and property dispositions via online auctions for all asset classes.
Mike holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Maine, where he was honored as a Scholar Athlete by the NCAA. Before transitioning to commercial real estate, he played professional hockey for six years in the United States, Sweden, and Norway.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mike volunteers as a youth hockey coach and serves as a business mentor for veterans and active-duty military personnel transitioning to civilian careers.
