Mr. Cashman is an Executive Director – for Credit Solutions managing a portfolio of Real Estate Owned (REO) properties for various clients. Mr. Cashman has extensive experience managing REO assets including multifamily, office, retail, industrial and land portfolios. Mr. Cashman manages a team of REO Asset Managers and support staff responsible for the management and disposition of REO portfolio. The services delivered include selecting 3rd party property management / leasing companies, interviewing and selecting the investment sale brokers tasked with selling the underlying collateral. Mr. Cashman is responsible for developing asset strategy, asset valuations and achieving the ultimate disposition goals, approved by our clients. Mr. Cashman works across many departments to coordinate all issues normally encountered when owning and operating real estate portfolios. This includes working with legal, property tax and insurance departments, and coordinating with treasury to ensure all collections are received in accordance with the approved asset business plans.
Mr. Cashman has over 30 years of professional experience in commercial real estate. His experience includes real estate development, portfolio management, reporting, leasing, asset management of large portfolio of properties including industrial, office, retail, and multifamily assets. Mr. Cashman has worked for the largest real estate development companies which include Prologis (NYSE: PLD) and KDC, a corporate build-to-suit provider located in Dallas, Texas.
