Lily Kao

Ms. Kao is a Managing Director at AEW and Head of Asset Management for the firm’s Private Equity Group. In this capacity, she is responsible for the oversight of all asset management activities across all strategies and separate accounts. Ms. Kao is also a Senior Portfolio Manager for AEW’s U.S. open-end, core strategy, where she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the strategies investments and operations as well as working closely with investor relations on marketing and providing support to the strategies investors. She has been with the firm since 1998 and is a member of AEW’s Risk Management Committee and Investment Committee. Ms. Kao serves as a Council Member for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). She holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Southern California
