Katelyn Girod

Katelyn Girod works on Capital One Healthcare’s Medical Office Originations team on Medical Office, Medical Property and Life Science transactions. She joined GE Capital, now Capital One, in 2011 and during her tenure has experience originating, structuring, underwriting and managing Medical Office and Senior Housing transactions. In her current role she has originated medical office and life science transactions totaling over $2.5B. Prior to originations, she led the underwriting of 50+ healthcare real estate transactions for over $2B+ in commitments and managed a portfolio of $1B in healthcare real estate loans. She graduated from the University of Iowa and resides in Newport Beach, CA.
