Kate brings 20 years of industry experience to the Firm. As a Managing Director in the Portfolio Management group, Kate focuses exclusively on the firm’s open-end core real estate fund. She works closely with the fund’s Senior Portfolio Manager and all team members to execute the fund’s strategy on behalf of investors.
Before joining Harrison Street, she was President & Portfolio Manager at Broadstone Real Estate, where she was responsible for launching and managing a diversified fund of real estate investments. Before that, she was Portfolio Manager and Head of Research and Operations at Resource America. Over her career, Kate has held various roles in real estate and finance.
Kate holds a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management. She is active in ULI, CREW, and DCREC and is a committee member for The Goldie Initiative.
