As Top Producer at SVN | Chicago Commercial 2022, John was awarded the prestigious “Top Dog Award”, received SVN’s Partners Circle Award, and was recognized for the “Million Dollar Club” distinguished achievement award. Joyce received SVN’s Midwest Acheiver Award in 2024 and 2025. SVN Chicago Commercial completed a 0.50-acre, four-parcel assemblage at 911 Green Bay Road in Winnetka’s Hubbard Woods, its first major redevelopment since 1980. The complex, exclusive transaction repositions the last industrial-zoned parcel for mixed-use redevelopment. In 2022, John completed a fifteen-year lease of a 283,000 SF, 30’ clear manufacturing, and cross-dock facility on behalf of Akers Packaging Service Group at 425 Crossings Road in University Park, Illinois, an industry-leading corrugated box manufacturing company. The aggregate value of the lease was in excess of $18,000,000.
John completed a 1031 exchange involving the sale of 850 Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills, Illinois, and the acquisition of 4801 68th Avenue in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The disposition and reinvestment into a net-leased, cross-docked facility represented a $10 million transaction. In 33 years of commercial real estate service, he has completed over 1,200 transactions totaling more than $1.3 billion in consideration. As an owner, investor, and operator of multiple industrial assets, he brings firsthand experience that enhances his ability to strategically advise clients in agency assignments.
