Hunter Knight is Vice President of Real Estate Capital Markets for Regions Bank, a licensed nationwide lender partner to Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and HUD. Regions Real Estate Capital Markets specializes in a wide range of multifamily loan options, serving borrower needs including loans for affordable, workforce and market-rate properties.
Knight is an expert in the financing of conventional multifamily assets, overseeing production efforts for coast-to-coast lending with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac & HUD, as well as bridge and construction lending for clients throughout the bank’s primary geographic footprint. Knight and his team focus on providing tailored service to the bank’s direct clients, a cohort comprised of real estate owners that develop and/or purchase real estate assets for a longer-term investment hold.
Before joining Regions, Hunter Knight served as a Director for Lument. Prior to Lument, he served as Analyst and Director for the predecessor companies of what is now Newpoint Real Estate Capital; formerly Barings and Ares Commercial Real Estate. Over the first ten years of his career, Hunter has closed over $1.3 billion in multifamily loans. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance from University of Alabama, with a specialization in Real Estate.
