Gus Cabrera currently serves as the Director of Business Development for Resia, an award-winning, vertically integrated real estate company that specializes in developing, building, and managing quality multifamily communities across the United States. His responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new development and public funding opportunities, as well as providing support to existing operations in matters related to government regulations.
Before joining Resia, Gus served as the principal of Evergreen Venture Group, a consulting and real estate investment firm, and began his career with MasTec, Inc. holding several positions throughout his tenure, including division vice president where he was responsible for operations throughout South Florida.
He is a former president of the Latin Builders Association, the largest Hispanic construction trade association in the United States, and an active advocate on behalf of the building industry in Florida. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida International University.
