Partner
Tower Capital

George Maravilla was promoted to Partner of Tower Capital in 2023 and continues to spearhead the firm’s Equity and Development finance platform. He has led the rapid growth of Tower Capital’s industry-leading Build-to-Rent (BTR) team, emerging as a national leader within the sector. There are few capital advisors like Maravilla who bring the knowledge and experience of financing this complex product type to the table for both developers and lenders.

Maravilla joined the company in 2018 as Senior Vice President and quickly established himself as a key member of the Tower Capital team. His guidance and expertise have resulted in Tower Capital becoming one of the most active structured finance advisors in commercial real estate. He has firmly established himself as a leader of the firm’s BTR finance team and is repeatedly counted on to help developers bring their BTR projects to life.

Prior to joining Tower Capital, Maravilla spent 14 years at DMB Associates, Inc., an Arizona-based real estate development firm, where he had most recently served as Director of Finance and was responsible for underwriting more than $700M in potential acquisitions and vertical developments. He managed project level financial risk and created sophisticated financial models that were utilized to establish the appropriate development strategy for large scale master planned communities, golf courses, multifamily, office, retail and mixed-use projects throughout Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Utah. He also created long-term capital plans, project life cycle capitalization, deal structuring, and oversaw investor/partner reporting and evaluating new opportunities.

Prior to DMB, Maravilla held roles in technology conducting Financing Planning & Analysis for companies including Yahoo!, Excite@Home, and Plantronics.

He is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Maravilla earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Arizona State University with an emphasis in computer information systems and philosophy.
