As Vice Chairman, Mike leads Towne’s healthcare growth team and works closely with their field teams on newly acquired technology solutions group to accelerate their healthcare growth. Additionally, he leads key strategic initiatives that further strengthen the company’s infrastructure, accelerate growth across multiple vertical industries and advance our organization.
Mike has a deep knowledge of the healthcare and hospitality environments and has a wealth of experience across finance, sales and operations including driving client value, operational performance, P&L management, and client retention. Prior to joining Towne, Mike had a 20-year career at Aramark, the $15 billion global food, facilities and uniform services company, where he held a series of executive leadership roles including CFO of the Healthcare, Sports & Entertainment and Correctional Services businesses where he was instrumental in driving operating performance, revenue and margin growth. During his tenure he also led growth and retention for the Healthcare and Facilities businesses.
Early in his career he served as a Lieutenant and submarine officer in the US Navy during Operation Desert Storm. Mike holds an MBA in finance and operations management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and received his BA from the University of Rochester.
