SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Dungan has over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial construction as well as land development managing projects throughout the continental United States and Canada. Mr. Dungan has successfully managed single and multi-site document and cost review projects encompassing a broad range of property types including retail, office, industrial (ROI), multifamily residential, hospitality, assisted living and special use. Additionally, Mr. Dungan has provided consulting services to clients such as Wells Fargo Bank, BMO , CIBC, Zion Bank, Bank of America, JP Morgan, SBA Lenders and multiple other Construction Lenders as a third-party consultant.
Prior to joining AEI Consultants, Mr. Dungan worked as a Principal, National Client Manager and Senior Vice President for other national construction risk management firms such as Land America, National Assessment Corporation, Nova Group, and Partner Engineering and Science.
Previously, Mr. Dungan worked as a Regional General Manager with Pulte Homes. Duties included the supervision of over 30 project managers responsible for multiple communities with thousands of newly constructed residential homes. Mr. Dungan and his team would perform inspections of every home identifying construction defects and coordinating all repairs. Additional responsibilities included collaboration with Construction Managers, Sales Managers and Sub-Contractors to identify areas for improvement in company policies and procedures.
Mr. Dungan has several years’ experience interfacing directly with Lenders, Loan and Closing Officers, CDC, Owner’s Reps, Project Managers, Developers, Superintendents and numerous borrowers on subjects including contract compliance, project budgets, draw packages, risks and liabilities as well as scope of work issues. Mr. Dungan has been engaged on several major projects including large-scale loan portfolios, distribution warehouses and data centers, high rise office and residential construction as well as long term budget projects of over $500,000,000.
