Rob Records is a Director of Special Servicing for SitusAMC. He is responsible for the Special Servicing of large, SASB, CMBS assets on behalf of SitusAMC.
With over 39 years of hands-on loan workout and Special Servicing experience, going back to the 1980’s Texas banking crisis, the FDIC/ RTC contracting era, and the start of the CMBS market. Rob has been involved with landmark CMBS litigation cases and has worked out some of the most interesting assets to ever be transferred to a Special Servicer.
Rob joined SitusAMC in the 2020. Prior to SitusAMC, Rob worked for Cohen Financial. A subsidiary of SunTrust Bank, N. A. Prior to joining Cohen Financial, Rob spent the past 17 years as a Senior Asset Manager and Team Leader at both Berkadia/GMAC Commercial Mortgage and KeyBank Real Estate Capital. Rob was also a Portfolio Manager with Nomura Asset Management in 1997 and served as Director of Special Servicing when that platform was sold to The Bank of New York in 2000. In 1992, Rob participated in the first non-governmentally guaranteed securitization of subprime mortgages, which was executed by Diawa, as part of the liquidation of Goldome, FSB.
Rob holds both a BBA and an MBA from the M J Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
