Michel Chartier is a Data Center and information technology specialist, with more than 30 years’ serving in executive roles in the industry. As WSP in Canada’s Market Lead for Data & Mission Critical, he is responsible for helping the company navigate the country’s growing demand for Data Center infrastructure, using his expertise to drive design and operation solutions for a growing list of clients. Prior to joining WSP in 2022, Michel worked with consulting engineering companies in overseeing some of the largest IT facilities in the Quebec and Canadian market, ensuring invaluable data environments were protected from internal and external hazards.
Michel holds a Bachelor of Engineering, specializing in power and electrical, from Polytechnique Montréal and his also a Data Center Dynamics Trainer for North-America.
