Mark Maclean

Mark Maclean serves as the Director of Business Development for the West Coast of the Americas at Montréal International. In his role, he promotes the business environment in Montréal to companies located on the West Coast, assisting them with their setup or expansion in Greater Montréal. Since joining Montréal International in 2016, Mark has facilitated numerous international AI expansions, including those of Maluuba (Microsoft), Google Brain, and Facebook AI Research, while also helping startups establish a presence in Montréal. Prior to his current position, Mark worked as a senior manager at EY in the tax incentive group, where he focused on small to medium-sized companies and tech startups. He is also a volunteer and mentor at the Foundation Montréal inc. and actively participates in mentoring events at Concordia University. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University, a diploma in entrepreneurship from McGill University, and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business.
