Something About Me That Some People Don’t Know:

I recently posted on LinkedIn that I have been playing music for over 40 years.  My father pastored a church for 40 years and my brother and I were the founding band members for the church.  I have recorded multiple times in the studio and provided keyboards on the R&B group TLC album Fan Mail in 1999.   I continue to play for churches, weddings, holiday events, and still occasionally record music with my Grammy nominated brother Ricco Lumpkins.  Lastly, my wife (Flor Lumpkins-Coldwell Banker Real Estate Broker-Residential and Commercial) and I have a blended family that includes 9 children.  3 are in college and the youngest is 6 years old.  As a result, I will be working until I’m 90.  My famous quote is “If you love what you do, then you will never work a day in your life.”
