Jason L. Signor is the Founder and CEO of Big Sky Asset Management, a premier healthcare real estate investment firm. Beginning his career as a civil engineer designing hospitals in Nashville, Tennessee, Jason transitioned to real estate development after earning his MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Throughout his career, Jason has developed 46 healthcare projects valued at over $1 billion and launched multiple successful businesses, including a senior living company employing nearly 1,000 people. His latest venture, a real estate investment management platform with AUM exceeding $1 billion, ranked among the top 5 buyers of US medical real estate in 2022 and 2023. To date, Jason has invested $3 billion in healthcare real estate across 150 assets in 26 states.
In 2016, he was named National Healthcare Real Estate Executive of the Year by Healthcare Real Estate Insights. The Dallas Business Journal recognized him among their Most Admired CEOs in 2019, and Ernst & Young twice named him a finalist for their Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2019 and 2024).
Jason serves on several boards, including the Folsom Institute at SMU and as Chairman (and Founding Board Member) of the Texas A&M Real Estate Advisory Board. He is an active member of YPO’s North Texas chapter and has served as Chairman for the Texas Business Hall of Fame, Co-Chair of HPISD’s Mad for Plaid, and President of the Dad’s Club for University Park Elementary School.
Jason holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from SMU, where he was class president, graduated with honors, and later received the Cox School’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award.
