James Postweiler is an executive managing director for Newmark’s Capital Markets group specializing in dispositions and recapitalization of suburban and downtown office properties in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. A highly practiced office expert, Mr. Postweiler has more than 30 years of experience in investment sales, mortgage financing and asset management and has completed transactions totaling more than $14 billion throughout the course of his career.
Mr. Postweiler joined Newmark in 2019 from JLL, where he acted as co-head of the firm’s office capital markets group in Chicago.
