Jake Noble

Managing Director

 Jake Noble is Managing Director & Market Lead for Specialty CRE in CIBC Bank USA’s Commercial Real Estate line of business. He leads a team focused on executing CIBC’s relationship-banking strategy with clients in deposit-rich segments of the U.S. Commercial Real Estate industry. Mr. Noble’s responsibilities include generating new commercial real estate relationships, expanding existing banking relationships, and leading product development and process improvement initiatives that enhance deposit-related service offerings for Commercial Real Estate clients. 

Previous Experience 

Mr. Noble has been with CIBC since 2007, originally joining through The PrivateBank, which was acquired in 2017. Previously, Mr. Noble was Group Head for CRE IL, responsible for executing CIBC’s relationship-banking strategy with dynamic and growing national real estate operating and development companies primarily based in Chicagoland. In this position, he led a team of five commercial real estate banking originations and underwriting professionals and managed a loan and deposit portfolio exceeding $2.5 billion. 

Prior to joining CIBC, Mr. Noble was Vice President in the Illinois Commercial Real Estate division with LaSalle Bank where he was responsible for managing relationships with Illinois-based commercial real estate firms and growing a loan and deposit portfolio exceeding $500 million. He completed the Commercial Lender Training Program at LaSalle in 2002.

Civic Engagement 

Jake serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Midtown-Metro Achievement Centers, a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing enhanced educational resources and primarily serves Hispanic and African American youth from low-income families in Chicago. He has been involved with MEF in various capacities for over 20 years. 

He lives in Evanston with his wife, Kate, and their two sons, Matthew (18) and Lucas (15). Jake and Kate are active in their local Catholic parish, Saint John Henry Newman, and in special education advocacy for kids with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
