Igor Kaplun

Igor Kaplun is a Cyber Security Practice Lead at Siemens Canada, specializing in consulting for critical infrastructure sectors such as utilities, oil & gas, food, manufacturing, and government. With over 30 years in IT, more than 15 years in cybersecurity, and 7 years specifically in OT cybersecurity, Igor brings extensive experience to his role. He leads a team in cybersecurity assessments and compliance, including NERC CIP, and develops strategic approaches to protect vital systems. He holds a B.Sc. and numerous certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), and GIAC Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP). His expertise encompasses threat and risk assessments, penetration testing, security architecture design, and incident response.
