Geoffrey Kasselman, SIOR, LEED AP, is the CEO of Evoke Partners, a forward development and investment platform that combines real estate with energy and disruptive technology. He is also the Founder & CEO of Op2mize Energy, a strategic energy procurement company, advocating for clients across North America. Previously, Geoff was Partner & SVP, Workplace Strategy for CRG, a Clayco company, and he was Executive Managing Director at Newmark where he led their North American Industrial Practice and oversaw their O’Hare office. Geoff was also the 2016-2017 SIOR Global President.
Additionally, Geoff actively engages in PropTech angel investing and mentoring. He sits on various Boards including RealNex; Otso; BEI.re; InteliGlas; and Smart City Works Venture Studio; and previously served as the founding Midwest Regional Chair for FIBREE (international blockchain organization). He is also a highly acclaimed, innovation-minded business futurist and accomplished global speaker on topics such as AI, digital disruption, exponential technologies, future-proofing, and advanced energy strategies. He has delivered over 100 Keynote speeches in nine different countries around the world.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Geoff has been highly decorated with many notable awards and distinctions. He recently received the Richard G. Levy Award from the SIOR Chicago Chapter, its single highest honor, and was awarded Executive of the Year by the Illinois RE Journal. Geoff was inducted into the Midwest RE News Hall of Fame in 2016, and has been recognized by Crains, SIOR, NAIOP, CoStar, Newmark, RealComm, AIRE, Chicago Association of Realtors, and many others.
