Bernie Oegema, leads the business development activities for the data centre market at Siemens Canada. Bernie has been in the data centre business for over 30 years and has experience in designing, building and operating these critical facilities.
Bernie works with the many teams within Siemens that have solutions in the fast-growing data centre space, electrical distribution and control, automation, fire safety, physical security and cyber security as well as integrating self-generation.
Bernie is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, has a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Physics and Masters of Business Administration. He is passionate about making data centres more sustainable while maintaining reliability and adaptability of these facilities that increasingly underpin our society and economy.
