Andrew Van Tuyle is Senior Managing Director, Investments for both BH Properties’ and its Multifamily and Affordable Housing platform, Haven Housing. Andy has more than 25 years of experience in the acquisition, disposition, financing, brokerage, and management of commercial and multifamily real estate.
As Senior Managing Director of Investments, he also leads the firm’s Value Add and Bankruptcy divisions, where he is instrumental in sourcing and executing complex investment opportunities, including stalking horse bids, debtor-in-possession financing, and distressed asset acquisitions.
Throughout his career, Andrew has successfully closed transactions exceeding $5 billion across more than 30 states, demonstrating deep expertise across all major real estate asset classes. His strategic vision and deal-making acumen have positioned him as a key driver of BH Properties’ and Haven Housing’s national investment platforms.
Prior to joining BH Properties, Andrew held leadership roles in private equity, finance, brokerage, and syndication with several prominent firms in the Los Angeles market. His professional achievements have earned him industry recognition, including being named one of Real Estate Southern California’s “Top 40 Under 40” and a “Star to Watch” by Commercial Property News.
Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of San Diego and remains actively involved in various business associations and community organizations.
